Carrefour is present in Indonesia since 1998 and has been growing rapidly ever since. In January, Trans Corp through its subsidiary company PT Trans Retail took over 100% of the shares of PT Carrefour Indonesia, and changed the company name into PT Trans Retail Indonesia
